Gene and I raced against each other in 1994, and a few years later we were racing together.  Gene and I met when we both were working at Trans World Airlines.  He decided to take his racing to the Late Model Division at Odessa, Missouri's I-70 Speedway, a high-banked asphalt oval steeped in history.  I raced I-70 in the Chargers Division in 1992 (my first race car), and in the Street Stock Division in 1994.

I-70 is no longer an asphalt track, but it's only a matter of time before an A/Q-wired car makes its way to the winner's circle!
